Employment Application

The Village of Beverly, Ohio was established in 1831 and is named after Beverly, Massachusetts, the native home of a first settler. Measuring in at less than one square mile, the Village is small in area and big in heart.

Located along the Muskingum River, our small town is big on charm. Beverly is home to Fort Frye School District, and boasts interesting local businesses, churches, libraries, and outdoor fun. There really is something for everyone. We encourage you to visit us soon and make sure you plan includes stops at Dodge Park, the Beverly-Waterford community swimming pool,  or any of our upcoming events.

Whether you’re visiting or a life-long resident, we’re here to help you find what you need.

Important Public Notices

Police Impound

The Beverly Police Department impounded a vehicle from a pursuit in April of 2021. We are looking for the owner to contact us to make arrangements to pick up the vehicle or we will proceed to forfeit the vehicle to the Village. We have made great strides to contact the owner, Linda Gray Melby. The vehicle in question is a red 2009 Pontiac Vibe. Anyone who knows this individual please have her contact the Beverly Police Department to make arrangements to pick up her vehicle.

History In Your Own Backyard

Below is a video created by "The Gatekeepers of Hidden Treasures" who explore what they call "History in Your Own Backyard."  This video showcases many of the historic sites in our small community. We hope you enjoy watching this video and learning about some of our historic sites we have "in our own backyard.”

History in Your Own Backyard - Thanks to Sharon Farnsworth who provided many of the old pictures as well as information used for this project.
